Scholastic Book Fair
Reading is the most important skill you can teach a child. Of all the skills children learn, it is the one you can influence the most.
We invite you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair and experience a celebration of reading that provides families the opportunity to get involved in a universal mission: encouraging kids to read every day so they can lead better lives. There are many services available with the book fair. See below: Storia is a free eReading App for kids. Scholastic eBooks come to life with Storia-Educational App for Kids on iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, and Windows PC. When you download the App, you will get 5 free ebooks. For more information or to down the App, get Storia here.

*The Online Book Fair will NOT be available with the BOGO Book Fair in April. One of our goals is to ensure as many children as possible have access to books. One of the ways we can do that is through the All for Books program. With your help, we will be collecting money to purchase more books for our school library or classrooms. Not only does your donation help our cause, but Scholastic Book Fairs will match monetary donations raised with a donation of up to one million books to two non-profit organizations dedicated to helping children, families, and teachers acquire books and educational resources - Kids In Need Foundation and Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. On behalf of the students and teachers of our school, THANK YOU! Most educators believe that a rich, supportive literacy environment is critical to a student’s reading success.
The best way to create this type of environment is for every classroom in the school, regardless of subject matter or grade level, to have a well-stocked, regularly replenished library. The Scholastic Book Fairs Classroom Wish List program makes it easy to achieve this goal. It’s a highly effective way for teachers to let families know which books they would love to add to their classroom libraries. It also gives parents a meaningful way to demonstrate the importance of making a contribution to others. |
